Hotel Washington - Amsterdam

The room was big, clean and comfortable, the ensuite had a bath and shower and was comfortably spacious. There was plenty of hot water. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was in a quiet, residential area of town, yet close to some museums and a tram line directly into the centre of town.

Out first impression was not good as, at first, it seemed our booking could not be found, the reception area was a little dusty and we saw stains on the tablecloths. However, the rest of the stay was excellent. I would recommend it to anyone.

The staff were most helpful and willing to take extra efforts to meet our needs. It is on a quiet street that is easily accesible to city bustle.... we loved everything about it.

Affordable accomodation right in the center of Amsterdam. Really small (single) room, bed, and bathroom, but all of good quality and clean.

They wanted to charge me 5% cost for using a cedit card, this really is outrageously "old fashioned" and a first time ever for me in a Hotel. It was also not mentioned on the website, so i didnt have to pay.

Large and newly renovated room with sharing bath, a shared bathroom which was clean, as for instance as advertised. Lots of awesome food for meals;)))

We enjoyed Vondel Park. The hotel has a friendly vibe. Just a heads up, keep in mind the steep stairs, which can be tough after a long day exploring, but it's worth it for the location and overall experience.

We faced some challenges with Visa and the hotel staff were not very accommodating. It was frustrating as they didn't seem to care about helping us.

I like the location of the hotel. It is in the neighborhood of the Musemplein and museums. It is near Vondelpark and Leidsplain. You can reach this entire destination by foot. Besides, close to hotel there are tram and bus stations with excellent connections with center, Central railway station (connection to the airport) and other destinations in and around the city. The hotel is situated at the residential area so it is perfect place for rest. The stuff is kind and helpful.

Self bike rental, TV, reception.

Big price for that kind of room, sight from window, service very fair they give just a bottle of shower gel for all 5 days, they have Wi-FI only for money (5 euro is too much!!!), and its did'nt work good. Stuff just make up the bad, nothing else.

It was well-located, clean, good value, and with a most helpful staff.

The stairways to our upstairs room were quite steep, but we knew that prior to our visit.

The steep and small stairs make lugging your bags a workout!!! The communal microwave access is inconvenient. Staff-only fridge seems outdated!!!

Breakfast and it is walking distance to city center and other attractions. Staff is friendly will assist you with requests.

My room was on the top floor without a bathroom. 4 flight of stairs which are very steep. If you are 2 or more then count on the fact that. You will sleep in the top floor and be prepare for the steels incline. The hotel will charge 4% if you use credit card and debit card as well. I was not notified of this when I booked. Bookings should alert travelers of this as I took money out to pay cash for the hotel. Amsterdam doesn't belie e in credit you may you you debit card at selected locations but cash is mosy use NOT credit cards

Hotel staff were very kind, which impressed me.

The steep stairs added a workout to our day, and the late-night check-in was handled with patience by the staff-definitely appreciated after a delayed flight.
